OFFICE CONCEPT / MEDICO

INTERIOR DESIGN / FURNITURE & OBJECTS

In 2017, a new building complex for Medico international was built in the heart of Frankfurt's Osthafen. Spacewood developed a spatial concept with built-in and free-standing, room-dividing units.

The built-in room dividers are located at the transitions between hallways and offices and dissolve the border between these areas. The consistent design element of the modular objects on several floors creates a uniform picture. Functionally, they offer storage space, visual privacy and light exchange. This mixture of closed, open and semi-transparent elements creates a link between the spaces.

Maritime pine was used in combination with black MDF and glass in transparent, matt and wireframe.
